LISBON — Police on Thursday continued to look for a knife-wielding man who stole an undisclosed amount of money from the the Big Apple on Lisbon Street on Wednesday night.
The lone male entered the store at about 10:50 p.m., showed a knife and demanded money from the two employees there, according to police. The man then fled on foot. There were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery.
Police said the white male was about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black mask, black pants and dark-colored shoes.
Police arrived within minutes of receiving a call from the store at 10:52 p.m. with a tracking dog. The scent ended a short distance away, in the Davis Street area, according to police.
The Lisbon Police Department continues to investigate this robbery and is requesting that anyone who may have seen a person matching this description, or who may have seen a suspicious person or vehicle in the area, contact them at 353-2500.
