FARMINGTON — Bandit and Hestia are the Pets of the Week at the Franklin County Animal Shelter.

The Dog of the Week, Bandit, is a 1½-year-old male Lab mix.

Bandit is great with kids and cats, and would love to meet your dog — if you already have one — to see if everyone can get along. He has some good basic house skills and is very eager to please. All Bandit needs is a loving fur-ever home to make his life, and yours, complete.

Hestia, a 1-year-old female, is the Cat of the Week.

She’s an incredibly beautiful kitty who is a bit shy at first, but very sweet once she gets to know you. If you can love her and give her a fur-ever home, you’ll soon discover that Hestia is totally worth the effort and will return your love.

All the pets can be seen at the shelter from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays at 550 Industry Road. Cats and dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and have been vaccinated for rabies, treated for fleas, nails trimmed and they are microchipped. The shelter also rehomes barn cats, livestock and other pets.
