LEWISTON — Diane Annette (Lebel) Dube, 67, of Lewiston, passed away Monday, Nov. 13, after a long battle with COPD.
Diane was born in Lewiston on May 4, 1950, the oldest of three children of the late Yvon Lebel and Marilyn Bernier Lebel. She received her education at St. Peter’s School and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1967. She attended the University of Southern Maine.
She worked many years in the flooring business, retiring in 2009 from Sherm Arnold’s Flooring and Kitchen.
She was a lifetime honoree member of the Pastime Club and a former president of the women’s auxiliary and trustee. She was a fan of the Green Bay Packers, Red Sox and through thick and thin remaining the most faithful 49ers fan ever.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Diane is survived by her only son, Derek Dube and his wife, Amy, of Minot; step-grandson, Brady Landry and the apple of her eye grandson, Colin Dube; brother, Don Lebel and his wife, Terry, of Auburn; brother, Denis Lebel and his wife, Tammy, of Auburn; niece, Heidi Lachapelle and her husband, Dan, and sons, Thomas and Owen; nephew, Todd Lebel and his wife, Ashley, and daughter, Corinne; and nephew, Toby Lebel.
Diane’s family would like to thank the staff at Clover Manor and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice and also her great friend, Diane Labbe.
