As a resident of Lewiston and a teacher in the Lewiston school system, I realize the importance of the make-up of the school committee. I want someone who has been involved in the everyday issues of our schools, attends school meetings, is active in the PTO of the school her children attend, supports teachers and is unafraid to speak out when she sees things that impact teaching and learning.

Rene Courtemanche is that someone, and I hope others join me in supporting her as the Ward 1 School Committee representative.
