WILTON — Wilton police say a semi-automatic pistol, an iPad and credit card were taken from two separate vehicle break-ins over the weekend.
A 22-caliber Smith and Wesson semi-automatic pistol was taken from a vehicle parked at a residence on Maxwell Road some time over Friday night, Police Chief Heidi Wilcox said.
Some money, about $20 in change, was also taken, she said.
In a separate incidence, an iPad and credit card were taken from a vehicle parked at a residence on Stockford Avenue some time between 5 and 10 p.m. Friday night, she said.
Both vehicles were left unlocked, she said.
Both incidents were reported to police Saturday.
Wilcox reminds residents to please keep vehicles locked and asks anyone with any information about the pistol or iPad to call Wilton Police Department at 645-3876.
