PARIS — Celebration Barn Theater will present two shows Saturday, Aug. 26.

At 2 p.m., Marta Mozelle’s clown show, titled “Please Ship This Wet Gift,” will be staged to give families the opportunity to laugh together about feeling bad.

Mozelle is a New York City-based puppeteer who performs, builds and teaches. She has worked on puppets, millinery and costumes for Broadway and at the Puppet Kitchen, where most recently she served as a department head overseeing the structures for 21 puppets headed to the San Diego Zoo.

At 7:30 p.m., it’s “An Evening of New Works,” featuring a variety of performances created in residency at the Barn this summer. The original shows have been developed by artists, who spend a week at a time exploring a wide array of styles, including puppetry, stand-up comedy, bouffon and 3-D shadows. The performances will feature faces familiar to Celebration Barn audiences — Amanda Huotari, Fritz Grobe, Ian Bannon, Shane and Collin Miclon, in addition to guest artists from around the United States.

Tickets to Marta Mozelle’s show are $10 for adults (including 60 years and older) and $8 for children ages 17 and younger.

Lobby and concessions open at 1:30 p.m.
