A rusted Chevrolet pickup truck named Gracie was recently placed at the top of Falls Hill along Route 2 in Rumford to capture the attention of motorists and be the centerpiece of a flower garden. The 1936 or ’37 truck was donated by Skip and Natalie Lana Reed of Mexico, prepared by Roger White and his crew at White’s Yardworks of Rumford and transported by Adley’s Auto Sales in Rumford, which helped White with the cost of plants, dirt, fertilizer and mulch.
