Community Credit Union presented a $500 check to St. Mary’s Food Pantry as part of the Maine Credit Union League’s initiative known as the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. At the end of each year, 100 percent of the money raised by each participating credit union is given back to that credit union to be distributed to hunger organizations in their community. For the donation were, from left, Christina Carter, executive vice president at Community Credit Union; Ashley Ward, marketing assistant at Community Credit Union; and Mia Poliquin Pross of the St. Mary’s Food Pantry.
