The Jones Band, will be featured, rain or shine, in this week’s concert of the “Music for Mavis” Tuesdays at the gazebo music series in Turner Center, 98 Mathews Way. A sweet little dance band, featuring Moe Boley on the Sax, Wally Jones on the trumpet, Ron Roy on drums and Allen Hutchinson on keyboard ( not in photo), this toe-tapping group hopes to get people up on the feet and dancing. The Jones Band has been playing weekly, Saturday nights, at 7 p.m, at the hall across the bridge in Buckfield. The concert is free, but the hat is passed. A $5 donation is suggested.
