Grand Rounds hosted an open house for its newest office in Bates Mill No. 6 in Lewiston on Thursday evening. The company did extensive renovations in the mill and renamed its conference rooms after well-known television doctors, such as the one above named after Hawkeye Pierce from the television show “MASH.” The San Francisco-based company matches patients at local businesses with local doctors who are best suited to diagnose and treat the individual’s ailment. The company also offers remote second opinions. The service is intended as a human resource benefit for large employers. The company said it intends to grow to 200 employees in the Lewiston office within five years.
