FARMINGTON — State fire investigators are assisting Farmington Fire Rescue chiefs to determine the cause of a fire Tuesday night that heavily damaged the Falls General Store in Farmington Falls.

The fire was reported just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Croswell Road and Philbrick Street.

Several fire departments assisted Farmington firefighters to put the fire out.

The cause of a fire that heavily damaged the Falls General Store on Tuesday night on Croswell Road in Farmington is under investigation  The fire was reported at 10:57 p.m. No one was injured, according to a post on Farmington Fire Rescue Department Facebook page. Farmington crews where assisted by fire departments from New Sharon, Chesterville, Temple, Wilton, Industry, and Jay. Also assisting where Farmington police and NorthStar EMS ambulance personnel.
