Madisyn Bernard of Auburn presents the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society with the donations from her ninth birthday on Feb. 27. Bernard, a third grade student at the East Auburn School, asked for donations for the pets in lieu of birthday gifts. Party guests donated pet food, treats, cat litter and cleaning supplies.
