FARMINGTON — A Chesterville man was arrested Tuesday night after police warned him to stay away from a Farmington Falls residence in the afternoon, according to a police spokeswoman.
Jeremiah Pinkham, 23, was arrested on charges of burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief at about 11 p.m.
Police warned Pinkham at about 1 p.m. not to bother the resident, gave him a harassment and trespass notice, and told him not to go on the property, said Bonnie Pomeroy, Farmington Police Department office manager.
The resident did not want any contact with him, Pomeroy said.
Police responded after Pinkham showed up at the property and tried forcing his way into the home, she said.
Pinkham was taken to the Franklin County Detention Center.
