LEWISTON — This week’s Oasis of Music, Wednesday, Feb. 15,  features curator Greg Boardman playing old-time traditional fiddle music from the southern Appalachian regions of the U.S.  The program will feature breakdowns, reels,  ballad tunes and waltzes on solo fiddle played in a variety of tunings popular among musicians of that region.

 The Oasis of Music takes place at Trinity Church, 247 Bates St., Lewiston, from 12:30 to 1 p.m.  Admission is free.  For more information call 344-3106.
