FARMINGTON — A Jay woman pleaded no-contest Wednesday to sexually molesting a child under age 12 between June 1, 2014, and and Feb. 12, 2015, according to court documents.

Tami L. Dalot, 44, formerly known as Tami Ouellette who formerly lived in Wilton, pleaded to a Class B charge of unlawful sexual contact in Franklin County Superior Court. A conviction on the charge carries up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.

A no-contest plea means the defendant does not admit or deny the charge, however, the court will find them guilty.

The state dismissed felony charges of gross sexual assault and visual sexual aggression against a child in a plea agreement, according to the court document.

Dalot is scheduled to be sentenced June 30.

Dalot and her former husband, Jamie Ouellette, 39, and his girlfriend Anna LaRochelle, 26, who had all lived in Wilton, were arrested in February 2015 and accused of sexually molesting a child and forcing the child to watch the three adults have sex, according to a Franklin County Sheriff’s Office affidavit filed with the court.

The court dismissed those charges against Tami Dalot last year at the request of Assistant District Attorney Claire Andrews who said new evidence had arisen and she planned to have Ouellette indicted on a gross sexual assault charge. She was indicted in November 2016 on that charge as well as other felony charges of unlawful sexual contact and sexual aggression against a child.

Jamie Ouellette pleaded guilty in September 2016 to felony charges of unlawful sexual contact, unlawful sexual contact involving a a child under 12 and visual sexual aggression against a child in Franklin County Superior Court.

He did not agree with the charges but believed if the state presented its evidence to a jury he would have been found guilty.

He was sentenced in November to serve eight years of a 20-year sentence followed by nine years of probation on the sexual contact charge and five years each on the lesser felonies that were to be served as the same time as the sexual contact sentence.

LaRochelle pleaded guilty in September 2016 to unlawful sexual contact involving a child under 12 and visual sexual aggression of a child. She also did not agree with the state’s evidence but acknowledged a jury could have found her guilty.

She was sentenced to six years in prison with all but 2½ years suspended for the unlawful sexual contact followed by seven years of probation. She was also sentenced to two years for the visual sexual aggression charge to be served at the same time as the sexual contact sentence.
