1949 – 2017
FORT KENT — Galen D. Ouellette, 67, died peacefully Friday, Jan. 20, following a long courageous battle with cancer at Fort Kent Health Care facility.
He was born in St. Francis on May 11, 1949, the son of Adelord and Julienne (Jandreau) Ouellette. He was a member of the Genealogy Society, was an avid photographer and loved the outdoors.
He worked at the Federal Reserve Bank and Sears for many years, while living in Lewiston.
He is survived by his 10 siblings, Adam Ouellette of St. Francis, Roderick Ouellette of Waterbury, Conn., Adrienne Blackwell of Gaffney, S.C., Gerald and wife, Joann Ouellette, of Bloomington, Calif., Letha and husband, Larry Thurlow, of Poland Spring, Allen and wife, Nancy Ouellette, of Olivia, N.C., Virginia and husband, Kenneth Clifford, of Sabattus, David Ouellette of St. Francis, and the Rev. Kent Ouellette of St. Agatha; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his dad and mom; a sister-in-law, Roberta; and his brother-in-law, Alber. //Albert?//
He was a loving brother and son who was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed.
