I write in response to the Leonard Pitts Jr. column (Jan. 14).

Pitts certainly does not speak for me. President Barack Obama did not do me proud — quite the opposite. While I am glad that Pitts enjoyed Obama’s ride, it is time to be Americans now.

I am an American who supports Donald Trump.
