MECHANIC FALLS — RSU 16 Adult Education announces upcoming learning opportunities:

Exercise classes — Community members can join Dance Fitness, P90X LIVE!, Rockin’ Boxin’ or yoga classes. Afternoon and evening options are available. Six-week sessions start at $40.

Real estate sales agent — This 55-hour sales agent course is by Arthur Gary School of Real Estate. Class is 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 1 through May 17. There is a $500 fee that includes books and materials. 

College transitions — The 12-week free program helps prepare attendees for success using both face-to-face and online interaction in the spirit of current college trends. Face-to-face classes meet from 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays, beginning Feb. 6.

Medical professions — Learn about earning national certifications in various health care areas such as billing, coding, dental assisting, pharmacy technician and more. Free information session broadcast at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7. Registration is required by Feb. 6. 

Roadwise Driver — This interactive AAA course uses videos, activities and lectures to help those 55 and older understand and adjust to age-related changes. Participants may also qualify for an insurance premium discount. Class meets 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 14. Cost is $25 and includes lunch.

Career-planning and high school completion classes are also offered.
