1927 – 2016
LEWISTON — Beverly E. Goldrup, 89, a resident of Auburn passed away late Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Russell Park Manor in Lewiston.
She was born Dec. 5, 1927, in Leeds, the daughter of Ralph Delmont Nichols and Helen Olive Josephine (Stevens) Nichols. Beverly was a graduate of Monmouth Academy and also acquired some college courses. On Feb. 6, 1946, in Lewiston, she married Ernest Goldrup Jr. He passed away June 21, 2001.
Through the years, Beverly devoted her time to caring for her family and her home. She was a life member of Livermore Falls Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed boating, knitting, ceramics and crafts. Beverly especially enjoyed traveling with her husband in their RV throughout the southern states. She also had a great love for the Rangeley Lakes Region and spending time at the camp they owned there.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Coulombe of Auburn; her son, Keith Goldrup of Monmouth; four grandchildren, Walter Murch III, Tricia Gagne, Jennifer Signorelli and Michelle Goldrup; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her son, Dennis Goldrup; and son-in-law, Robert Coulombe.
