The Christmas day service will be held at 5 p.m. instead of the regular Sunday service time of 9:30 a.m. This will be a song-filled service celebrating the birth of Christ.

LOCKE MILLS — Locke Mills Union Church will hold a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, on Main Street.

OXFORD — Hosanna Church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service from 10 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24. 

There will be readings, special Christmas music, a devotional and a circle of everyone present holding a candle and singing “Silent Night.”

The Christmas service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, to celebrate the Lord’s birth. 

New Year’s Eve supper and candlelight communion will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1. This is the church’s annual supper that’ll be followed by testimonies of what God has done in people’s lives during the last year. The church will receive communion (the Lord’s supper) by candlelight around the tables which shall be set up in the shape of the Cross.

WILTON — First Congregational Church of Wilton has announced its holiday services. 

The Christmas Eve service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24. The service will include special music, a children’s story and a meditation.

The New Year’s Eve service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31. This will be a special Watchnight service to welcome the New Year. 

The New Year service will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, with a message for the New Year and the Sacrament of Communion.
