My husband of 57 years is a Donald Trump fan. He wears his Trump shirt and “Make America Great” hat proudly. Many times during the past few months he has received glares and hateful comments. He has expressed concern about America’s younger generation and their protesting in the streets against the duly-elected, future President Trump.
Recently, he went to the grocery store and four unknown young people came running up to him. He was expecting trouble, but was greeted with praise and a handshake. They commented that this was their first time voting and they had voted for Trump, too. They asked to have their picture taken with him. He said his faith in our younger generation has been restored.
I want to thank these young persons. They made us proud. These are the young people who should featured on the network news.
