LISBON — Police are investigating a fight that took place early Sunday morning at an apartment building where a woman was stabbed.
According to the Lisbon Police Department, officers arrested 38-year-old Lindsay Knight of 244 Lisbon St. and charged her with aggravated assault at 10 a.m.
Knight was released on $500 cash bail with a scheduled court date of Dec. 7 in Androscoggin County Superior Court.
Police responded to a report of three people, one man and two women, at 1:58 a.m. in the Farwell Mill Apartments parking lot.
Responding officers spoke with the man and one of the women involved, but the other woman had fled the scene after reportedly being stabbed in the arm and neck.
A canine search took place, using blood found at the scene, to find the victim and investigate the scene.
Lisbon police found the victim, a 32-year-old woman, around 6:30 a.m. at a nearby apartment. According to police, she had wounds consistent with being stabbed, but she did not want medical attention.
The weapon involved has been recovered.
