RUMFORD — Catherine Johnson, executive director of the Hope Association, announces that Laura Bolduc is the new vocational and employment supports administrator.

Bolduc has more than 27 years of experience in employment services in the private and public sector. With the hiring, Hope Association officials are aiming to expand the opportunity for people in Oxford, Franklin and Androscoggin counties and surrounding areas to receive employment services.

Hope Association recently received approval to provide traumatic brain injury (TBI section 18) services and to assist others that qualify for the new waiver for other related conditions program — (ORC section 20). Individuals who may qualify for the ORC program may have cerebral palsy, epilepsy or any other condition, other than mental illness, found to be closely related to intellectual disabilities because the condition results in the impairment of general intellectual functioning or adaptive behaviors. Eligibility will be reviewed by the Office of Main Care Services medical director.

Bolduc will work with the Rural Employment Team at 82 Congress St. in Rumford and the Bass Wilson Building, 284 Main St., Suite 120, Wilton.

Bolduc has served on several state committees, including the Funding Source Coalition and the Brain Injury Work Supports Initiative.
