LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library has announced the opportunity for day cares to host a librarian during Daycare Story Hour beginning in September.

Brianna Rush, assistant director of Treat Memorial Library, will schedule monthly story time visits with day cares in the Livermore Falls, Livermore and Jay area.

Rush will bring rhymes, songs, activities and picture books to share. She can also work with providers to design a Daycare Story Hour that will be most appropriate for their day cares.

In addition to providing Story Hour, Rush will also bring a bag full of books for the day care to enjoy until the next visit. Books will range from the newest picture books recommended by publications like “The Horn Book” and “Library Journal,” to older gems that are classics or may have been overlooked. Rush will pick up the books when she comes to visit again and bring a whole new bag.

FMI, schedule: 207-897-3631.
