LEWISTON — Maine Event Comedy will present nationally touring comedian Kelly MacFarland at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Lewiston Elks Lodge, 1675 Lisbon Road.
 
She’ll be joined by Brian Brinegar, Mark Reilly and host Mark Turcotte.
 
MacFarland has appeared on the TV shows “Last Comic Standing” and “Gotham Comedy Live.”
 
Captivating crowds with her charm and playful point of view, MacFarland headlined the Boston Women in Comedy Festival, was first runner-up in the 2009 Boston Comedy Festival and voted Best of the Fest at the 2010 Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival. She has appeared on the “Today” show, “The View” and has entertained U.S. troops overseas.
 
Thrice named Maine’s Best Comedian by the Portland Phoenix, Brinegar is originally from Los Angeles and has worked with “Last Comic Standing” winner Iliza Shlesinger.
 
Reilly, who moonlights as a U.S. mail carrier, was a finalist in Portland’s Got Talent and a semi-finalist in Portland’s Funniest Professional contest. He recently performed at the World Series of Comedy in Boston and the Broken Record Show in the Wild West Comedy Festival in Nashville, Tennessee. Turcotte was a recent selection to the Boston, Cleveland and North Carolina comedy festivals.
 
The show is for ages 21 and older. Doors open at 7 p.m.
