Maine is a beautiful place to live and to raise a family, but many young people are finding it difficult to make a life here. My family experienced that firsthand.

When our son graduated from college, he had to go south to find a job in his field. He has achieved success in his work and he and his family visit often, but we’re saddened that they can’t live here.

Our son is one of many educated young people who has been forced to choose between living in Maine and finding a good job. Maine needs more good jobs, more industry and more opportunities, and Kimberly Sampson has a plan to bring industry and good paying jobs to this state so that Maine’s young people, like my son, can stay and raise their families here.

I hope others will join me in voting for Kimberly Sampson in November.
