HARTFORD — Nancy Lovelace and and Rosemarie Osborn will present “Empowerment through Healing Mother Wounds” to the Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Hartford Town Hall, 1190 Main St.

Lovelace is a certified professional co-active coach with Coaches Training Institute in San Francisco, Calif. She worked as a licensed massage therapist for 14 years before becoming a certified professional co-active coach.

Rosemarie Osborn, CM, is a member of the Augusta Spiritualist Church and Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp. Her training has taken her to Lily Dale, N.Y., the headquarters for Spiritualism in the U.S.

A wounding is a painful experience that is usually beyond control or outside the self. It is a disconnect that lacks understanding. Wounding can make individuals feel less than their purpose or steal their dream. It can also be an unintended impact due to circumstances, history or the story they hold about the wounding and a mother’s part in it.

Empowerment helps people to take one step beyond the now into the re-connection of self in the circumstance and the perspective of the how and why’s of mother wounding. Participants may step into the healing and empowerment by sharing, learning to hold forgiveness, and gain the strength, hope and courage needed to change perceptions.

Admission to the event is a suggested donation of $25. Advanced registration is recommended.
