Mystery Photo for July 3, 2016

There were only a dozen correct entries for last week’s Mystery Photo. There were calls from people in many towns incorrectly identifying their home town monument, but only the ones who identified the Civil War Monument in Veterans Memorial Park in Mechanic Falls were eligible for a gift card. In a random drawing of the correct answers, Scott Penney of Mechanic Falls was chosen as the winner of a $20 Hannaford Supermarkets gift card. “It’s funny, I am the one who planted those flowers in the photo,” he said when called with the news that he had won.
