PORTLAND — For the fifth time in the past seven seasons, the Scarborough Red Storm (12-3) are the Class A champions. Saturday, they defeated Brunswick 18-10 behind four-goal efforts from Cam Thibault, Sam Neugebauer and Marco Manfra.
Marc Guerette also had a pair of goals in the victory.
The Dragons’ goals came from Max Gramins, who had three, while Josh Dorr and Jameson Cyr each had two. Christian Glover also had a goal for Brunswick (12-3).
Falmouth 13, Yarmouth 9
PORTLAND — The Falmouth offense was paced by Louis Mainella, George Gilbert and Devin Russell, who each had three goals, to lead the Yachtsmen to the Class B state championship with a 13-9 win over Yarmouth.
It’s the Yachtsmen’s (12-3) first title in four years.
Jack Scribner had five points for Falmouth, with two goals and three assists.
Andrew Beatty paced the Clippers (12-4) with five goals. Will Jacobs, Matt Beatty, Patrick Grant and Cole Buchanan each had a goal in the losing effort.
