SOUTH CHINA — Caroline Gastonguay scored six goals and Avery Lutrzykowski had one, leading undefeated St. Dom’s (12-0) to a 7-2 victory over Erskine Academy in a girls’ lacrosse game Thursday.
Kristina Cornelio and Rileigh Stebbins each earned an assist for the Saints. Katelyn Justus scored two goals and Hayley Hinds added one for Erskine.
Edward Little 8, Brunswick 7
BRUNSWICK — The Edward Little girls’ lacrosse team closed out the season with a nail-biting 11-10 win over Brunswick (2-10) on Thursday.
Francesca-Beth Haines lead the scoring for the Red Eddies (5-7), punching in six goals and picking up two assists along the way. Megan Steele scored two and Haley Frohlich, Brooke Lever and Kaylee Jipson each scored a goal.
The Red Eddies were behind 8-6 at the half before rebounding with five goals in the second half.
For Brunswick, Jenna Brooks scored five goals. EL goalie Mariah Vaillancourt made nine saves.
