1963 – 2016

LEWISTON — Diane G. Caron, 52, a resident of McNamara Street in Lewiston, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, March 20, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston, May 8, 1963, the daughter of Eugene and Simonne (Gagne) Caron Sr.

Diane was born with cerebral palsy but never let her illness get the best of her during her life. She was active with her annual summers at Pine Tree Camp, where she enjoyed arts and crafts, fishing, archery and gardening. She also loved her family, especially all her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include two brothers, Richard Caron and wife, Lois, of Oxford, and Marcel Caron of Lewiston; three sisters, Mariejeanne Caron Spencer and husband, Norman, of Wilton, Joanne Caron and Irene Thibodeau, both of Lewiston; one sister-in- law, Claire Caron of Oxford; and many neices, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Eugene Jr., Robert, Donald and Roger Caron.
