AUBURN — William J. Rogers American Legion Auxiliary 153, 71 South Main St., will have a supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the post home.
The menu consists of homemade turkey stew with biscuits, tossed salad, pickles, assorted desserts and coffee.
The cost of the all-you-can-eat dinner is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and younger. There will be take-out orders prepared for pick-up by calling the post at after noon on any day of the week.
The suppers raise funds for auxiliary programs that benefit veterans and their families, community programs such as children and youth, Dirigo Girls State, Americanism projects and outreach, and assistance to the various programs developed for veterans at Togus VA and Western Maine Veteran’s Home. They also raise funds to help maintain the post home, which provides a place for veterans of all eras and branches of service to find comradery with other veterans.
Anyone who would like more information on programs or to become a member of the American Legion, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion or the Legion Riders should call the post home.
