NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital’s Physical Rehabilitation Department manager, Lissa Merrill, announces that physical therapist Tracie MacLeod, DPT, recently advanced her training in pelvic floor rehab.
MacLeod recently earned her certification in Level 2 pelvic health physical therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association training in Houston, Texas.
The pelvic floor rehab program at Stephens Memorial Hospital started in 2014. It involves learning how to find the right muscles to help with incontinence, pelvic pain and other problems. MacLeod provides information on exercise and nutrition to help improve bowel and bladder function.
She earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Franklin Pierce University.
