FARMINGTON — Police said two local teens were charged with burglary and theft at a Clover Mill Road residence on Sunday.
The caretaker of the property checked it about 4:20 p.m. Sunday and found footprints in the snow leading up to the house, according to a Farmington Police Department report. The juveniles were caught on the property with stolen items, mostly tools.
They were also charged with criminal mischief because property was damaged in the break-in, police secretary Bonnie Pomeroy said.
The teens are expected to appear in juvenile court on Feb. 4.
