UPDATE: Owner of Lewiston apartment building says foundation failed

LEWISTON — An Eastwood Village apartment building on Randall Road was pushed off its foundation during the rainstorm Sunday.

A 30-foot wall buckled at 184 Randall Road at approximately 5 p.m. All occupants in the eight-apartment building were asked to evacuate. 

Lewiston fire and police were on scene to investigate. Officials shut off gas and electricity to the building as a precaution.
