Kind of interesting when you think about it.  Two words, “white girl” have set the media, not just in Maine, but around the planet abuzz with their laser focus on what could be yet another juicy racial incident.

Further, the political class, in Maine and nationally, jumped like Pavlov’s dog, right on cue, when they saw a chance to condemn a white Governor for a perceived racial slight.

What am I talking about?  Maine Governor Paul LePage, at a town hall meeting, was asked a question about the drug issue we are facing.  He responded with his typical, direct manner.

Ray Richardson explains the issue in his blog “It Might Just Be Me.”

Ray Richardson has hosted the Ray Richardson Show on News/Talk WLOB and the Lobster Radio Network for the last 12 years.  He has written a newspaper column for various newspapers over the last decade and a half.

Additionally, he has written three books, including his latest, Every Stone Has A Story, the story of Wreaths Across America, which was released in the Fall of 2015.

Ray has been married to his wife Dee Dee for over 30 years.  They have four children and live in Westbrook.
