1952 – 2015

LEWISTON — Raymond R. Morawski, 63, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

He was born in Neptune, N.J., on March 25, 1952, the son of Raymond S. Morawski and Martha C. Kelly. Raymond went to schools in New Jersey and obtained his GED in Maine.

He married Debra Fox in 1985 and they were together for 41 years. They had two children, Alan J. Morawski and Susan D. Morawski.

Raymond enjoyed watching TV, especially his beloved Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He also enjoyed going “crabbing” on the Jersey Shore. He was a longtime member of the Twelve Hour Club.

Raymond is survived by his spouse, Debra Morawski; his daughters, Susan Morawski of Lewiston, and Michelle Romagno of Waterville; a brother, Robert Morawski and his wife, Mary, of Little River, S.C. He is also survived by four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son, Alan Morawski, in 2002.
