1947 – 2015

AUBURN — Gail Currier, 68, of Holley Road, Farmington, died early Friday evening, Sept. 4, at the Hospice House in Auburn.

She was born in Farmington, Feb. 3, 1947, a daughter of Albert and Ada (Harnden) Tyler and received her education in Farmington schools. She was employed at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington as a coder in the medical records department for over 30 years, retiring in 2013.

Gail enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for always having a project that she was working on.

She is survived by a daughter, Laura of Farmington; a son, Bruce of Chesterville; grandchildren, Cassie and her companion, Adam Cobb, of Madison, Christina and her companion, Jody Meader, of New Sharon, Caitlyn and her companion, Keith, of Saco, Spencer of Chesterville, and Jeremy and his wife, Crystal, of Jay; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Peter Tyler and his companion, Veronica, of Farmington, Eddie and his wife, Cindy, of Farmington, Joe and his wife, Debbie, of Bangor, and David and his wife, Peachy, of Farmington; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol; sisters, Elaine, Nancy, Susie and Marilyn; and a brother, John.
