1966 – 2015

LEWISTON — Peter John Bell, 48, passed suddenly on Tuesday, Sept. 1, in North Platte, Neb.

Pete was born on Sept. 18, 1966, in Lewiston, the son of Theresa Jutras Bell and the late Roger Bell. He attended Lewiston High School.

After school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a heavy transportation driver.

Pete used his training in his post-military career as a long-haul truck driver, which he did until his passing.

During his off time, Pete enjoyed working on his homestead and cooking for his family and friends. He was an avid fan of NASCAR racing, his favorite driver being Jeff Gordon. Often, he coordinated his trips to coincide with NASCAR races all across the nation.

Pete was predeceased by his father, Roger Bell; and brothers, George Lacasse and Leo Bell.

He is survived by his mother, Theresa Jutras Bell; sisters, Lorraine (Leonel) Lacroix, Elaine (Bernie) Bilodeau, Corina (Rob) Waters, and Doreen (Brian) Cromwell; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his faithful road buddy, Gizmo.
