There should be more human interest stories. All we hear about is the violence in this world.

I was having a bad day the minute I walked into the store but decided to get my hair cut. The girl gave me a wonderful hair shampoo. It eased my tension. She would talk near my ear, as she knew I was hard of hearing.

After shopping, I headed for the checkout. I was having a very bad sugar-drop moment. The lady behind me asked if I was OK. She understood, as she was also diabetic. I was having a difficult time with my payment card. I was frustrated that I was holding things up. The cashier also was so nice and took charge. It was nice to have someone who cared. The lady behind me had already started putting my groceries in my cart. I apologized for the hold up. She had me drink my orange juice. She was just a sweet lady, I wish I had gotten her name to thank her.

There are nice and caring people out there. But we never hear of that. Bad news sells. There should be more about people who help others. That woman took charge and I hope she reads this. Thank you so much.

A bad day was made better by three people who were kind enough to help me out. Really made my day.
