The photo by Russ Dillingham (May 20) in the Sports section of the two young women running the hurdles is nothing short of magnificent.

Lisbon’s Chase Collier and Boothbay’s Morgan Crocker, evenly matched, virtually flying over the hurdle in perfect synch is an image neither of them will ever forget.

What a credit to them, their parents and their respective track programs, that image is. I have never seen a better pair of determined and beautiful athletes (both winners, in my book) in the Sun Journal’s, or anyone else’s, sports pages.

Great job all ’round.
