1957 – 2015
SABATTUS — Kenneth E. Hutter, 58, of Bowdoinham, was suddenly taken from us Monday, May 4, in an automobile accident in Sabattus.
He was born in Providence, R.I., on Jan. 18, 1957, a son of Ernest and Noreen (Gladding) Hutter. He was educated in Cranston and graduated high school from Cranston West High.
Ken was working for Harry C. Crooker and Sons as a road mechanic.
He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to fish, snowmobile and four-wheel. He also was a sports fan following the Pats, watching NASCAR and going to Oxford Plains Speedway. His greatest joy was his family, and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren at Sandy River and spending time at his camp with his son. Ken will be missed for his great sense of humor and his ability to have a nickname for everyone.
He leaves his mother, Noreen Hutter of Ashland, N.H.; a daughter, Natalie Reynolds and husband, Jeremy, of Otisfield; his son, Joseph Hutter and wife, Mindy, of Leeds; his longtime companion, Wendy Damon of Bowdoinham and her three children, Scott Damon of Leeds, Justin Damon and wife, Kimberly, of Bowdoinham, and Nick Merrill of Bryant Pond; a sister, Ann Marie Mackin and husband, Parrish; two brothers, James Hutter of Rhode Island and Steven Hutter of Hebron; and his 12 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Ernest, last month.
