LEWISTON — A memorial Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Martin F. Morgan Jr. was celebrated by the Rev. Stephen Concannon Tuesday morning, April 7, at Holy Family Church of the Prince of Peace Parish.

During Mass, the Old Testament reading was proclaimed by grandson, Martin Morgan. The New Testament reading was proclaimed by granddaughter, Kathryn Eagan. The Prayer of the Faithful was recited by grandchildren, Caitlin, Shannon, and Steven Morgan, as well as Emily Eagan. The Offertory Gifts were brought to the altar by grandchildren, Allison and Giulia Morgan, as well as Meaghan Lajoie and great-grandson, Cooper Lajoie. Words of Remembrance were shared by Martin’s son, John Morgan.

At the conclusion of services, a reception line formed in the back of church, where all in attendance were able to greet the Morgan family with a personal condolence. All were then invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston.

The urn bearers were all grandsons, Ryan, Joseph, Nicholas and Daniel Morgan, as well as Patrick and Timothy Eagan. Graveside committal prayers will be held Wednesday, April 8, at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, Mass. Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
