LEWISTON — Dollar General will celebrate the grand opening of its new store at 1079 Sabattus St., starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 7, with free prizes and special deals.

The grand opening will help mark the major retailer’s expansion into 43 states as it simultaneously opens stores in Oregon and Rhode Island.

During the grand opening celebrations on Saturday morning, the first 100 adult shoppers at each store will receive a $10 Dollar General gift card and the first 200 shoppers will receive a Dollar General tote bag, among other giveaways.
