AUBURN — A local woman criminally charged in a car accident in November pleaded not guilty Thursday to four related misdemeanors.
Sarah Wysocki, 34, of 24 Laurel Ave., entered denials to charges including endangering the welfare of a child.
She was indicted in December by an Androscoggin County grand jury on charges of driving to endanger, endangering the welfare of a child, operating after suspension and disorderly conduct. Police said in court records that Wysocki’s license had been suspended for operating under the influence.
Police said passengers suffered minor injuries when Wysocki drove the wrong way onto Minot Avenue and her car collided with a tractor-trailer.
Wysocki was leaving the parking lot of Mac’s Seafood at about 9:40 p.m. Oct. 31, 2014, and turned right onto Minot Avenue.
She is barred from having contact with the four children ages 8 to 11 who were passengers in her car, except as allowed by the Department of Health and Human Services.
She remains free on her own recognizance.
