MINOT — The Minot Historical Society will sponsor a food sale at the town meeting on Saturday, March 7.
Items will include muffins, breads, fruit, cookies, pies, biscotti and doughnuts.
Minot voters are urged to attend and vote on the town administration, fire department issues and town road maintenance.
The school budget will be voted on early this spring at Poland Regional High School.
Plan to attend the RSU 16 budget vote.
Last year the voter turnout from three towns was less than 100 voters.
Hebron will have their town meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21.
In other Minot Historical Society news, Bill Hiss will present a program about “Shiloh: Frank W. Sandford and the Kingdom,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10.
Refreshments will be served following the program.
All are invited.
Society members will sell apple, custard, pumpkin, chocolate cream and lemon meringue pies and vanilla cheese cake for the Easter season.
Cost is $10 each and must be prepaid.
Orders can be picked up at from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Town Office.
Orders will be taken at the March 7 town meeting.
