According to a release from Lt. Glenn Holt of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department, the Circle K store at 748 Route 202 in Greene was robbed by a white male around 3 a.m.

Holt said the suspect entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. No weapons were shown. Holt said no one was hurt in the incident and the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Holt said the robber got into an unknown vehicle and departed southbound on Route 202.

According to Holt, the robber is described as a white male in his twenties with light-brown hair. 

He was wearing a dark gray hoodie sweatshirt with the word “Duke” across the chest in blue letters with silver outline around the letters. Under Duke was “Blue Devils” in silver. Next to the neck area of the hoodie were the words “Blue Devils” in blue. Holt said all the lettering was embroidered. The inside the hood was lined with blue material. The string for the hood is also blue. 

The robber covered his face with a white cloth.
