DIXFIELD — This year’s annual World Day of Prayer service will be hosted by the Dixfield Congregational Church (on the hill) at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 6. The service is free and open to the public.

The service this year was written by women of the Bahamas and promises to be a lively and uplifting event. As in past years, readers and singers from several area churches join forces to hold the special service that is presented on the same day in churches all over the world.

An offering is collected and sent to WDP headquarters for contribution to women’s causes around the world.
