TURNER — Maine State Police were investigating a Friday night crash on Route 4 that left at least one person injured.

A witness said it appeared one car broadsided another at about 6:30 p.m. in front of the motorcycle club, a short distance from Upper Street.

Police blocked Route 4 to traffic on either side of the crash site as emergency crews responded. It was believed at least one person was taken to a Lewiston hospital, although the extent of injuries was not known.
