Neighborhood: Games will be played at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Trinity Methodist Church. FMI call 778-4517.
North Chesterville: Making St. Patrick’s Day cards for the elderly at local nursing homes at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at the town office. Members will also plan a bake sale for Chesterville Town Meeting day. FMI call 778-3156.
Strong Learning and Sharing: Members will make bracelets at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the Methodist Parish House. FMI call 684-4538.
Weld: Planning meeting for making bread for shut-ins and for the farmers market at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb., 10, at the town office meeting room. FMI call 585-2545.
Wilton Day: Herb cooking at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at St. Luke’s Church. FMI call 645-2423.
In partnership with the University of Maine cooperative Extension, Franklin County Extension Homemakers do educational programs, learn new things, have fun and enjoy food, friendship.
New members are welcome for day and evening meetings. The groups participate in numerous community service projects each year.
